Raiffeisen Digital Bank started operations in Poland

With the help of the Raiffeisen Digital Bank mobile app, you can borrow up to PLN 100,000 and the maximum repayment period is 60 months

Raiffeisen Digital Bank has updated its Polish website with a credit offering. The fintech will initially sell cash loans. Customers wishing to use the financing do not need to open a new bank account. With the help of a special calculator available on the website, they can calculate the monthly instalment.

The update to raiffeisendigital.com comes shortly after the launch of the fintech's app, for now only on the iOS platform. It should be noted that the institution makes its services available only through the app, so it is not possible to take out a loan from it through the website.

How to take advantage of this offer? Once installed and launched and registered on the app, the customer's identity is verified during a video call (you will need an ID or passport). Income is also verified, which is done by logging into a bank account just once. The fintech ensures that the login details are not stored by it. Once the terms of the loan have been agreed, the customer signs the contract electronically.

Raiffeisen Digital Bank made headlines in mid-August when it turned out that the Austrian banking group was returning to the Polish market with a new product, the aforementioned application with fast cash loans. Its users will be able to borrow remotely up to PLN 100 thousand with a maximum repayment period of 60 months. The loan can be repaid with the help of standing orders. The fintech has also declared that it will be launching other services.

It has recently emerged that Raiffeisen Digital Bank's partner will be a Polish startup Self Learning Solutions providing a scoring and risk assessment engine. It is this engine that the RDB will use for lending. The credit decision-making process is fully automated. Earlier, Blue Media announced the implementation of an express payout transfer service in the young fintech's app. As a result, customers using the new solution will be able to receive the funds granted to them in their account on the same day. Express payout is valid for amounts up to PLN 20 thousand.
