Idea Bank has just announced that its customers can now use the Masterpass digital wallet by registering online at masterpass.ideabank.pl. The service is available for customers who have an Idea Bank account, Idea Cloud access (online banking) and an active payment card. In order to activate the Masterpass wallet customers need to enter some personal information, such as their phone number, email address and date of birth, and then create a password and mPIN code.

Masterpass makes it easier to make card payments online. Customers who create a digital wallet can add their cards by entering their card information just once. After that they can pay online with not much more than one click, without the hassle of entering their card number, expiration date, etc.

Idea Bank is the fifth company in Poland to make Masterpass available to its customers. Previously it was introduced by Pekao, Raiffeisen Polbank, BZ WBK and BGŻ BNP Paribas. However, other customers can use Masterpass as well by signing up for wallets offered by mPay and uPaid, or by signing up with Mastercard directly.
