After the United Kingdom, this is another agreement between InPost and a foreign national postal operator
InPost has agreed with Austrian Post, enabling Polish e-commerce retailers to send parcels to Austria and Hungary, according to a press release from the operator of Poland's largest parcel locker network. It adds that the new partnership will simplify logistics and create a consistent parcel-tracking system.

Parcels will have one label and one tracking number. The e-commerce store owner can choose the shipping method. They will order a courier, use a parcel machine, or use a shipping point. InPost declares that parcels from Poland to Austria and Hungary will reach their recipients within three working days. Deliveries in Austria are made via parcel machines and courier delivery, while in Hungary (in the first phase of implementation), door-to-door deliveries are available.
While at home, following a dispute with Poczta Polska (Polish Post) over the provision of public services, which began in December 2013, it is difficult to imagine cooperation between the two operators. Abroad, InPost is coping with this increasingly well. A few days ago, it announced a partnership with the United Kingdom's Post Office. The first InPost parcel machines were installed in front of post offices in two British cities. The company plans to install several hundred, and this is only part of a pilot programme.

Currently, InPost has nearly 90,000 OOH (Out of Home) points across Europe, including approximately 57,000 machines. According to data analysed by cashless.pl, this is currently the largest network of such devices in Poland.
