Laven will be a strategic partner of PCG

Among other things, it will be responsible for creating and distributing insurance products in many countries

As part of the cooperation between the entities, the Polish insurtech team will be responsible for, among other things, creating general insurance terms and conditions, supporting the claims settlement process, and setting up a call centre.

Laven has entered into a strategic partnership with Primary Care Group (PCG), an international integrator of healthcare solutions. As part of this cooperation, the Polish insurtech will develop and distribute modern health insurance and medical subscriptions. The partnership will cover not only Poland, but also other countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Persian Gulf, where PCG is already present.

PCG specialises in healthcare management, working with governments, insurers, hospitals, and technology partners to help transform fragmented healthcare systems into coordinated networks. The solutions provided by the entity combine 24-hour telemedicine, hospital care, home healthcare, and virtual clinics installed in offices, with a focus on reducing unnecessary resource utilization and improving treatment outcomes. The company focuses particularly on patients with chronic diseases and acute conditions.

The new partnership will combine Laven's actuarial expertise and insurance solutions with precise risk assessment and PCG's medical infrastructure. The Polish insurtech team will be responsible for, among other things, creating general insurance terms and conditions, supporting the claims settlement process, and building a call centre. "Combining our expertise in creating modern insurance products based on a unique actuarial model with PCG's global competencies in healthcare management is an important step in our development. It increases Laven's opportunities for international expansion and allows us to provide customers around the world with solutions that fill the gap in public healthcare systems," comments Piotr Karda, CEO of Laven.

In turn, PCG representatives emphasise that the strategic partnership with Laven strengthens Poland's position as a regional centre of excellence for the Primary Care Group. This is another step for the entity following the recent acquisition of a telemedicine and telemonitoring technology provider from the Polish market.

The cooperation between Laven and Primary Care Group, as a payer and service provider, is intended to provide the necessary medical services that are lacking for patients with chronic diseases, in acute conditions, and VIP patients.

Let me remind you that Laven is a Polish insurtech company that specialises in creating and distributing complementary health insurance policies, i.e., those that cover the costs of treatment and medical procedures not reimbursed by the National Health Fund (NFZ). The start-up's offer also includes second medical opinions and telemedicine solutions.
