"I think they're launching RevPoints in Poland. As always, I wanted to use the 1% cashback on Allegro in the Revolut app, but instead of the ‘Buy with cashback’ button, there was a ‘Accept the terms and conditions and continue’ button. After clicking on it, the RevPoints terms and conditions appeared. I accepted them, but a message appeared saying, ‘Something went wrong. Please try again.’ I think they made a false start," wrote one of the readers of cashless.pl to our editorial desk.

A spokesperson for Revolut did not confirm the false start, but declared that the programme would be launched in our country soon. "The RevPoints rewards programme is very popular among Revolut customers in Europe. It is also being intensively developed with new partnerships and benefits. For this reason, we want Poland to join the programme as soon as possible. We hope that this will happen soon," wrote Stefan Bogucki in response to my question about the launch date of RevPoints in Poland. Combined with the information from our reader, this may indicate that RevPoints is already being tested in Poland.

You could read about the British fintech company's plans to launch its loyalty programme in our country on cashless.pl at the beginning of April this year. The RevPoints tab appeared at that time in the section with documents concerning the use of the fintech's services.

Revolut launched its loyalty programme in July last year. The first market where RevPoints was piloted was the United Kingdom, and then its scope was extended to customers in other countries. The programme allows Revolut app users to earn points for their spending, with the number of points depending on the amount and type of plan (paid plans offer more points for the same transaction). Users can exchange the points they earn for discounts on purchases paid for by Revolut Pay, with the discount being greater if the purchase is made within the Revolut Shops app.
