The US company will move into a new office, four times larger than the one it currently has, early next year
Remitly, the US fintech specialising in international transfers, has leased a new office in Kraków. Its space is four times larger than the one the company currently has. The move is expected to take place at the beginning of 2026. According to Łukasz Nalepa, Director of Remitly Poland, as quoted in the press release, the new space will enable further development of the company's software hub in Poland.

Remitly is another fintech company that has decided to open its competence centre in the capital of Małopolska. Let me remind you that one of the best-known fintechs in Europe, Revolut, has had its office there for many years. Remitly will also be competing with other fintech companies for Kraków employees, such as Japanese Hitachi Cyber or British deferred payment provider Zilch.

Remitly, on the other hand, is, as I mentioned in the beginning, a US-based system operator for international transfers. It primarily serves economic migrants who send money to their families in their home country and entrepreneurs. It competes with services like Wise and TransferGo. As far as I know, it also allows money to be sent to our country and from Poland abroad via its mobile app.
