This is about the Polish company Envirly, which will receive PLN 6 million from new investors to develop its services.

BNP Paribas announced in a press release that it has participated in a new investment round of Polish startup Envirly. In addition to BNP Paribas, Tangent Line and Aligo VC funds as well as four private investors have decided to put up money for the company's development. In total, Envirly will receive PLN 6 million to develop its technology and expand the headcount.

BNP Paribas has been working with Envirly for several years now. Together they have been offering a business carbon footprint calculator for a few months now. This is important because, under EU regulations, from next year more business groups will be required to measure their carbon footprint and include it in their financial reports.

It is worth mentioning here that a few years ago, BNP Paribas announced that it had entered into a partnership with Swedish start-up Doconomy, creating a carbon footprint calculator for individual customers. It was to provide BNP Paribas customers with a mobile app that would help measure the carbon footprint of everyday purchases. However, the project was not implemented.
