SwatchPAY payments can be used by users of Mastercard cards issued by Alior and Getin\n\nSwatchPAY, a mobile payment service for users of Swatch watches, is now available in Poland. The customers of Alior and Getin Bank will be the first to use this payment system. For this purpose, they must first of all have a watch of this brand with a payment function - this option is provided by selected models from the New Gent and Big Bold lines. It is also necessary to download the appropriate application and add your payment card in it. Importantly, contactless payments are possible even when the watch's battery is flat.\r\n\r\nSee also: The largest Polish bank joined the EPI\r\n\r\nTo use the new contactless payments, you must download the SwatchPAY application from the App Store or Google Play and create an account with it. As part of the two-step verification, the customer will receive a message to the e-mail address provided by him, in which he will be able to confirm the willingness to create an account. You will also need to connect to the Mastercard debit or credit card service. In the case of Alior, it can be any card, Getin specified that the service may be used by the holders of selected cards.\r\n\r\nSee also: Whizzapi, a new service in the area of open banking, is launched\r\n\r\nWith SwatchPAY you can pay wherever contactless payments are accepted. The solution is safe because the actual customer card number is not made available to stores and other places where payments are made. More than one watch can be attached to the account in the application, and in the event of a lost timer, the reservation of the associated virtual card can be made using the app - just remove the card token. This will not affect your ability to use a plastic payment card.
